Professional Experience

Dr Evans takes instructions from solicitors, insurance providers, agencies and case management companies, and regularly undertakes Personal Injury work. He has completed over 500 expert reports for the courts since 2013. Claimant/defendant/joint ratio 7:2.1.

Dr Evans has experience of assessing a wide range of mental health problems by psychometric objective assessments and by clinical interview.

• Personal Injury: Cognitive functioning
• Affective conditions (e.g. PTSD, anxiety disorders etc.) following RTA
• Traumatic brain injury
• Cognitive rehabilitation
• Negligence (Medical, Industrial)
• Return to work assessments
• Income protection insurance claims

Clinical Experience:

• Providing psychological assessment and therapy to individuals, couples, and families with complex mental health problems, chronic health, terminal illness, adjustment to acquired and traumatic brain injuries and neurological impairment
• Performing neuropsychological assessment within a sub-regional neurosciences centre, leading a team of neuropsychologists, publishing peer reviewed journals in neuropsychology
• Extensive work in the private sector in expert witness work and neuro-rehabilitation (treating and assessing)
